"Peace
Not Piece"
My friend Sally's daughter, Kipper,
was quite the protest marcher. Although she was social
director of her sorority, she got a hankering to join the
picket line when she realized not only could she protest war
but could meet handsome
young 'comrades' as they raced
down the streets eluding police clubs with vinegar soaked
washcloths over their faces. All Kipper protests these days
is that her husband Solly doesn't take
her out to dinner often enough.
This touching social comment painting measures 11" x 14" and
is painted with paint (acrylic!) on canvas board.
