This was a very expensive restaurant on Lady Manhattan's Lower East Side and, boy, did they have a deal on entrees at Happy Hour. I used to join my three friends, (from left to right) Bernard, Rose and Ben, whenever I took the bus to visit them in NYC. This was the only restaurant in the city that served every flavor of Jell-O, including blue, and our favorite waiter Frank brought it to us a la mode at no extra charge. This is delightfully sized at 14" x 18", and painted with real acrylic paint on canvas board.
