A very fine comedian, this funny person also wrote one of my favorite musical interludes, "Alley Kat", under his alter nomenclature, Acker Bilk. Mr. Allen was the first to present the singer, Mr. Elvis Presley, on the great medium of television. His monolithic eyeglasses go well with his patent leather hair and both were a pleasure for this artist to portray.
